Cloud Platform Architect (Azure)

As part of Continental's digital capabilities growth, the global Cloud Services team is leading the transformation by establishing scalable, secure, and efficient cloud platforms for innovative solutions worldwide. We are currently looking for an experienced Cloud Platform Architect to take charge of designing, implementing, and governing our enterprise Azure landing zone. In this role, you will have the opportunity to set cloud architecture standards, develop secure and compliant infrastructure, and lay the groundwork for our development teams to deliver solutions efficiently and reliably. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing and leading the architectural vision for Continental's Azure cloud landing zone, aligning with Microsoft's recommended practices and Azure roadmap - Enhancing strategic cloud platform features in security, compliance, connectivity, and governance while overseeing the entire Azure landing zone infrastructure - Implementing cloud security controls across the enterprise, including automated compliance monitoring and vulnerability remediation processes - Developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions for automated provisioning, configuration, and management of Azure cloud landing zone - Collaborating with internal stakeholders to provide secure access to Azure IaaS and PaaS offerings - Troubleshooting platform issues and enhancing service documentation To be considered for this role, you should have: - An academic degree in computer science or a related technical field - Minimum of 3 years of experience in architecting cloud platforms (especially Azure) in enterprise settings - Proficiency in DevOps methodologies, CI/CD implementation, version control systems, and automation tools in cloud environments - Knowledge of high-level scripting language and Infrastructure as Code tooling - Basic understanding of IT service management - Strong technical leadership, excellent communication skills, and ability to work in a dynamic environment In return, Continental offers: - Opportunities for career growth and development within the organization - Hybrid work arrangement for better work-life balance - Global exposure working with a diverse team - Attractive employee benefit policies such as parental leave, wellness programs, and more If you are ready to drive innovation with Continental and share our core values of Trust For One Another, Passion to Win, and Freedom to Act, we welcome your application.
