About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated *Cloud Engineer* with a minimum of *5 years of experience, specializing in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Python development, Kubernetes, and Terraform. This is a remote opportunity for professionals who can work independently and drive cloud infrastructure initiatives with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure using *GCP services*.

* Develop automation scripts and tools using *Python*.

* Manage containerized applications using *Kubernetes* clusters.

* Create and maintain infrastructure as code using *Terraform*.

* Ensure cloud environments follow best practices for security, cost-efficiency, and scalability.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver reliable cloud solutions.

* Troubleshoot production issues and proactively improve system performance and reliability.

Required Skills & Experience

* 5+ years of overall experience in cloud engineering or DevOps roles.

* Hands-on experience with *Google Cloud Platform (GCP)*.

* Strong *Python* coding skills, including scripting and automation.

* Experience with container orchestration tools like *Kubernetes*.

* Proficiency with *Terraform* and infrastructure as code principles.

* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Qualifications

* GCP certifications (Associate/Professional Cloud Engineer or Architect).

* Experience in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).

* Understanding of cloud security best practices.
