About the role

Cloud Infrastructure Engineer III

• Design and build new

  AWS Landing Zones or enhance existing ones as per client architecture and security frameworks.

• Define and apply centralized security architecture (IAM, KMS, Shield, WAF, GuardDuty) and governance policies.
• Drive migration, modernization, and scaling efforts (multi-account strategy, FinOps, cost optimization).
• Lead Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation (Terraform/CloudFormation) for AWS services (VPC, EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda).
• Implement CI/CD pipelines (AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitLab) and integrate cloud automation and monitoring (CloudWatch, CloudTrail, ELK/managed services).
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers, support cross-skilling, and work with large scale Indian market clients and service providers.
• Lead and implement security best practices across cloud, application, and infrastructure layers.
• Design, maintain, and enhance secure AWS-based environments (network, IAM, monitoring, compliance).
• Build and maintain automated DevSecOps workflows in:
• CI/CD pipelines with security gates.
• Containerized environments (Kubernetes).
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Deploy, configure, and monitor security tools (logging, threat detection, compliance monitoring).
• Support incident response processes and vulnerability management.

What were looking for

• Deep experience with AWS core infra (VPC, EC2, RDS, S3, IAM) and networking fundamentals (VPC, Route53, ELB).
• Solid grounding in monitoring/logging (CloudWatch, CloudTrail, ELK) and cost management (FinOps practices).
• Security & compliance expertise encryption (KMS), best practices, threat detection (AWS Shield/WAF).
• Good to have- automation/IaC proficiency (Terraform/CloudFormation) and scripting (Python/Bash).
• Familiarity with Indian market demands: multi-account governance, cost optimization, remote/hybrid operations, large scale enterprise/consulting context.

Core Technical Skills

• Cloud Platforms:

  AWS (Solutions Architect, Security Specialty certifications preferred).

• Networking

  : Secure network design, VPNs, firewall rules, routing, load balancing.

• Security Standards

  : OWASP, CIS benchmarks, ISO 27001 controls familiarity.

• System Hardening

  : Linux and application-layer hardening practices.

• DevOps & Automatio

  n: CI/CD, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitLab/GitHub Actions.
