Job Description: In the HPE Hybrid Cloud, we lead the innovation agenda and technology roadmap for all of HPE. This includes managing the design, development, and product portfolio of our next-generation cloud platform, Green Lake. Working with customers, we help them reimagine their information technology needs to deliver a simple, consumable solution that helps them drive their business results. Join us redefine whats next for you. What you’ll do: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Developer with expertise in DevOps and Backend Development . This role requires a balanced skillset—30% in DevOps and 70% in backend development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Jenkins , Containers , Docker , and the ability to debug issues in a secure development environment. Proficiency in “ C#(.NET)” and backend coding/design is a must. The candidate should have a proven track record of delivering high-quality work, an excellent educational background, and a strong professional history with reputable employers. Key Responsibilities DevOps Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins . Manage and deploy applications in Containerized Environments (Docker/Kubernetes). Debug and resolve issues during secure development and deployments. Monitor and optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability in DevOps workflows. Backend Development Develop, design, and maintain scalable and efficient backend systems. Write clean, modular, and well-documented code in “C# (.NET) (preferred)" . Collaborate on architectural design decisions to ensure a robust and future-proof codebase. Debug and troubleshoot complex backend issues in real-time. Collaboration Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of DevOps and backend processes. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members. Implement Agile practices to ensure continuous delivery and incremental progress. Promote and apply the left-shift strategy by identifying and addressing potential issues early in the development process. Actively participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming sessions. Secure Development Follow best practices for secure coding and secure DevOps practices. Identify and resolve security vulnerabilities during development and deployment phases. What you need to bring: 6+ years of professional experience in a mix of DevOps and backend roles. Strong expertise in: Jenkins : Setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines. Containers/Docker : Creating and maintaining containerized applications. Debugging and resolving issues during secure development . Proficient in C#(.NET) with a strong focus on backend development (design, implementation, debugging). Experience in Microservices. Hands-on experience with backend design patterns and system architecture. Good understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus. Familiarity with Kubernetes for container orchestration is an added advantage. Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Educational Qualifications Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields with a strong academic record.
