A Connected Cars Technology Architect with OEM experience defines and designs the technical strategy for vehicle connectivity, overseeing vehicle architectures, telematics, infotainment, over-the-air (OTA) updates, cloud integration, and cybersecurity. Key responsibilities include creating robust systems that align with industry trends, regulatory frameworks (like UNECE WP29), and ISO 26262 functional safety standards. This role requires expertise in complex vehicle architectures, embedded systems, and a strategic, analytical mindset to collaborate with diverse teams and drive innovation in the software-defined vehicle (SDV) era.

This is onsite role, candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience and willing to relocate to EU/UK, Please don&apost apply otherwise.

Key Responsibilities

Technology Strategy & Vision:

Serve as a subject matter expert to lead the development of connected car and SDV technology strategies, ensuring alignment with global best practices and future needs.

Architecture Design:

Architect and define the overall vehicle architecture for connected systems, including vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication, telematics, infotainment, and cloud integration.

System Integration:

Oversee the seamless integration of new software, machine learning, and embedded systems into the automotive OEM environment.

Over-the-Air (OTA) Updates:

Design and ensure the architecture supports reliable and secure OTA software updates.

Cybersecurity & Safety:

Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity frameworks and ensure compliance with functional safety standards like ISO 26262 and regulations

Supplier Collaboration:

Work with external technology providers and suppliers to ensure their components and services meet the OEM&aposs architectural and functional requirements.

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure the connected car ecosystem adheres to emerging regulations and global trends in vehicle connectivity and data.
