Description
As a Doctor joining the QA team of a Healthcare Information System (HIS) software development environment, your role will involve: - Reviewing, analyzing, and validating clinical workflows within the HIS software. - Ensuring software functionality aligns with medical best practices and regulatory compliance. - Conducting end-user testing from a clinicians perspective to identify potential usability issues. - Collaborating with the development and QA teams to define test scenarios and cases. - Providing insights into medical terminologies, diagnoses, treatments, and clinical decision support systems within the application. - Participating in requirement analysis and design discussions to bridge the gap between medical professionals and software developers. - Assisting in troubleshooting and verifying bugs related to clinical functionalities. - Offering feedback on user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) improvements from a doctors perspective. - Supporting training and documentation by preparing clinical user guides and test cases. Qualifications & Skills required for this role are: - Education: MBBS, BDS, BDMS, or equivalent medical degree. - Experience: 2+ years of clinical practice experience (preferred). Exposure to healthcare IT systems, EMR/EHR software, or HIS applications is an advantage. - Strong understanding of hospital workflows, including OPD, IPD, radiology, laboratory, pharmacy, and billing. - Ability to analyze software usability and functionality from an end-user perspective. - Basic knowledge of software testing principles is a plus. - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to work with technical teams.
