Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychological assessment, behavioral assessment, and mental health screening for persons with disabilities.
  • Provide guidance, counselling, and intervention for children and adults with disabilities.
  • Conduct home visits and follow-up services.
  • Organize community awareness programs, screening camps, and training sessions.
  • Facilitate formation of support groups in the community.
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports of interventions.
  • Any other activities assigned from time to time.

Educational Qualifications

  • M.Phil. in Clinical or Rehabilitation Psychology (full-time) from a recognized institute, OR
  • Master's degree in Psychology with Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical/Rehabilitation Psychology.

Functional / Technical Requirements

  • Minimum 35 years of relevant work experience in clinical or rehabilitation psychology.
  • Valid RCI registration and state license to practice as a school psychologist.
  • Experience working with persons with disabilities.
  • Good knowledge of diagnostic and treatment procedures in psychology.
  • In-depth understanding of individual, group, and family psychology.
  • Familiarity with state education policies and regulations.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive or confidential information.
