Role Overview

• Lead and manage biometrics projects covering Clinical Data Management, Biostatistics, Statistical Programming, Medical Coding and Clinical Data Science & Visualization.
• Develop and monitor project plans, timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for sponsors/CROs, maintaining strong client relationships, communication, and stakeholder alignment.
• Take ownership of end-to-end delivery of biometrics services and ClinTech solutions based on project scope, ensuring quality, compliance, and client satisfaction.
• Manage client escalation handling by proactively identifying risks, resolving issues, and ensuring corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) are implemented to avoid recurrence.
• Coordinate implementation of ClinTech solutions (e.g., InductiveEDC, Prabandhan, AutoTLFs) within assigned projects.
• Ensure compliance with ICH-GCP, CDISC (SDTM/ADaM), ALCOA+, and regulatory requirements (FDA, EMA, PMDA).
• Drive adoption and effective use of project management tools such as Zoho Projects, MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, or Smartsheet to manage timelines, tasks, and team/client collaboration.
• Provide weekly and monthly dashboards/reports to management and leadership, highlighting project status, risks, financials, and resource utilization.

Budgeting & Financial Oversight

• Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring accurate tracking of costs, effort, and profitability.
• Monitor financial KPIs (budget vs. actuals, margins, resource utilization) and report to leadership.
• Proactively identify and address scope changes, contract variations, and budget impacts.
• Support invoicing, forecasting, and revenue recognition processes in alignment with finance teams.

Proposals & Business Support

• Collaborate with Business Development in preparing project budgets, effort estimations, and timelines for new opportunities.
• Contribute to RFP responses, client presentations, and bid defense meetings.
• Provide insights on resource planning, risk assessment, and delivery feasibility for proposals.
• Leverage biometrics and ClinTech expertise to position IQA's services and proprietary platforms in client discussions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/master's degree in business administration with Life Sciences, Pharmacy, medicine, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
• 7to10 years of experience in clinical trials, with at least 3to5 years in biometrics project management.
• Strong understanding of biometrics functions (CDM, Biostatistics, Programming).
• Proven experience in project budgeting, financial tracking, proposal support, and escalation management.
• Knowledge of CDISC (SDTM, ADaM), ICH-GCP, and regulatory frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with project management tools such as Zoho Projects, MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, or Smartsheet.
• Familiarity with clinical trial technologies (EDC, CTMS, or biometrics oversight platforms such as Prabandhan) is an advantage.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification preferred.
