Clinical Physical Therapist

As a Pediatric Physiotherapist at Walnut Child Development Clinic, located in Fatima Nagar Wanowrie, Pune, you will play a crucial role in providing holistic and evidence-based therapies to children with developmental, neurological, and physical challenges. Your responsibilities will include: - Conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations of children with developmental delays, neurological conditions, and physical impairments. - Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans using evidence-based pediatric physiotherapy practices. - Utilizing advanced rehabilitation equipment and techniques to promote motor development, posture, strength, and balance. - Working collaboratively with occupational therapists, speech therapists, psychologists, and pediatricians for holistic care. - Providing parent education and training to ensure continuity of therapy at home. - Maintaining accurate clinical documentation, progress reports, and therapy records. - Participating in team meetings, case discussions, and workshops to enhance patient outcomes. - Staying updated with recent advances in pediatric neuro and musculoskeletal rehabilitation. Qualifications required for this role include: - Masters Degree in Physiotherapy (MPT) with specialization in Pediatrics, Neuro, or related field. - Strong knowledge of child development, neuro-rehabilitation, and pediatric assessment tools. - Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills to engage with children and parents. - Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment. Preferred skills for this position include: - Experience in handling children with cerebral palsy, autism spectrum disorder, Down syndrome, and other developmental conditions. - Familiarity with robotic/advanced physiotherapy equipment (training will be provided if required). - Research orientation and interest in evidence-based practices.
