Clinical Dietitian

You will be responsible for meeting all inpatients on a daily basis during regular ward visits and planning diets according to the patients" medical conditions. Your role will also involve initiating the nutrition care process by performing nutrition screening to identify patients at nutrition risk. You will be monitoring patients" tolerance to nutrition, handling patient queries and complaints, and translating scientific nutrition information into practical advice. Additionally, you will be calculating patients" nutritional requirements, coordinating with the kitchen for food quality, and supervising the daily operations of the Nutrition therapy department and kitchen. Key Responsibilities: - Meet all inpatients daily during regular ward visits - Plan diets based on patients" medical conditions - Perform nutrition screening to identify patients at nutrition risk - Monitor patients at nutrition risk and reassess as necessary - Monitor patients" tolerance to nutrition and take appropriate action - Handle patient queries and complaints - Calculate patients" nutritional requirements using standard equations - Coordinate with the kitchen for food quality and quantity as per meal plans - Plan discharge diets for patients" nutritional care at home - Supervise food service supervisors during loading of patient food trolleys and ensure timely delivery of patient meals - Prepare Kitchen Order takers sheet and meal tickets based on clinical data - Collect patient feedback on food services and implement corrective plans - Assist Chief Dietician in departmental activities and menu planning - Conduct corporate lectures and presentations on various topics - Run clinics in hospital outpatient department for referred patients - Be part of the Quality Improvement Initiative & Protocols of the organization Qualification Required: - M.Sc. / PGD in Nutrition Therapy / Dietetics / Clinical Nutrition You will need 0-6 years of experience in hospitals for this role. Freshers with completed M.Sc. are also eligible. The job is full-time with benefits including health insurance and Provident Fund. The work schedule is day shift, and reliable commute or relocation to Mumbai, Maharashtra is required. Preferred experience includes a total of 1 year of work experience.,
