As a Solution or Infrastructure Development Lead at EY, you will be responsible for delivering services for large or complex projects with your strong technical capabilities and hands-on experience. Your role will involve designing, developing, delivering, and maintaining solutions or infrastructure while ensuring compliance with relevant standards. You will need to thoroughly understand business and user requirements to ensure that design specifications align with both business and technical perspectives. In this position, you will tackle complex aspects of projects, including coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting throughout the development process. Your expertise will be crucial in maximizing efficiency, reliability, and value from current solutions, infrastructure, and emerging technologies. You will also play a key role in developing relationships with peers across Development & Engineering and Architecture teams to engineer leading solutions. Additionally, you will provide leadership within the work group, setting expectations, structures, and responsibilities to ensure successful project delivery. Your focus will include driving consistency in processes, procedures, standards, and technical designs while contributing to the definition, maintenance, and implementation of technology standards. To excel in this role, you should possess advanced technical proficiency in designing, developing, and debugging solutions. Proficiency in C#/Java or Python, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, more than 10 years of applied experience, and significant relevant experience in software or platform engineering roles are required. You should also have experience in delivering software/platform engineering solutions, proficiency in CI/CD delivery, and knowledge in fine-tuning language models for specific tasks. Ideally, you will also hold certifications from Microsoft, Google, or AWS, have experience in modern delivery methodologies, and proven expertise in building applications using container-orchestration systems like Kubernetes and Docker container engines.
