Job Description

What youll do day-to-day

Client leadership

  • Own onboarding through renewal for a portfolio of enterprise mining, automotive, and steel clients.
  • Translate technical deliverables (GHG inventory, SBTi pathways, MRV data) into board-level value stories.

Cross-functional orchestration

  • Convene weekly Customer Council” with Sales, Product, and the CEO to unblock delivery and surface upsell opportunities.
  • Feed client feedback into the product roadmap, prioritising features such as AI-powered data validation or automated BRSR mapping.

Process & tooling

  • Build a scalable Success playbook—templates, runbooks, QBR decks—powered by ChatGPT and low-code automation (Zapier, Make, Notion AI).
  • Implement a lightweight CS platform (HubSpot Service Hub / Freshsuccess) and design health-scoring logic.

Thought leadership

  • Represent Bharat Carbon in client workshops, webinars, and industry panels on net-zero strategy and carbon markets.
  • Mentor future CS team members as we grow.

The skills & experience you bring

Must-haves

  • 8+ years total experience with 3–4 years in B2B/B2G sustainability or management consulting (carbon accounting, ESG reporting, net-zero strategy, or carbon-credit projects).
  • Proven track record driving renewals/expansions for enterprise clients (ARR 50 Cr+ portfolios ideal).
  • Working knowledge of standards & tools: GHG Protocol, ISO 14064, CDP, BRSR, SBTi, Verra/Gold Standard, LCA basics.
  • Comfortable wrangling data sets and storytelling with AI-enabled tools (ChatGPT, PowerBI Copilot, Airtable AI).
  • Education: Minimum BBA or equivalent; domain certifications (e.g., GRI Certified, ISO 14064 Lead Auditor, SASB FSA Credential) strongly preferred.
  • Stellar communication—equally at home in boardrooms and on the plant floor.

Bonus points

  • Exposure to mining operations or heavy-industry decarbonisation projects.
  • Experience setting up CS operations from scratch at a high-growth startup.
  • Familiarity with Python/SQL for ad-hoc data deep-dives.
