Job Description

Position: Client Engagement Trainee

Overview:
We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Client Engagement Trainee to join our team. This is an entry-level opportunity ideal for individuals who are eager to start a career in business development, sales support, or client relationship management. In this role, you’ll help drive client satisfaction, identify growth opportunities, and support internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with existing clients via email, chat, and phone to assess satisfaction levels and uncover new service opportunities.
  • Understand client needs and prepare tailored proposals, quotations, and service recommendations.
  • Follow up on proposals to boost conversion rates and support successful deal closures.
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities based on client workflows, feedback, and business objectives.
  • Coordinate with the Accounts team to ensure timely invoicing and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Collaborate with front-end and service delivery teams to ensure consistent, high-quality client interactions.
  • Keep accurate records of client communications, proposals, sales progress, and feedback using internal systems.
  • Support the sales team by helping to nurture leads and uncover new revenue streams.
  • Learn internal tools, processes, and systems to align client expectations with delivery capabilities.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • A proactive, customer-first mindset and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work well in a team and coordinate across different departments.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and Microsoft Office is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (completed or currently pursuing) in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Internship or project-based experience in client servicing, sales support, or account management is an advantage.
