Position Name - Clerk Exp - 3-6 Years Location - Vita 1. Customer Service Assisting customers with account-related queries. Providing information about bank products (savings, loans, fixed deposits, etc.) Resolving issues related to passbooks, ATM cards, cheques, etc. 2. Cash Handling (for Cashier Clerks) Accepting deposits and withdrawals. Verifying cash and maintaining cash registers. Ensuring accurate and secure handling of cash transactions. 3. Account Management Opening and closing bank accounts. Updating customer information (KYC documentation). Issuing checkbooks, debit cards, and account statements. 4. Clerical and Back-Office Work Data entry and record-keeping. Maintaining ledgers and financial records. Preparing reports for higher officials or auditors. 5. Processing Transactions Clearing cheques and processing RTGS/NEFT requests. Managing fund transfers and standing instructions. Assisting with loan documentation and EMI schedules. 6. Supporting Other Departments Coordinating with loan, marketing, or IT departments. Assisting in audits and compliance checks. Helping during peak hours or campaigns. Skills Required Good communication and customer service skills. Basic knowledge of computers and banking software. Attention to detail and accuracy. Trustworthiness and confidentiality.
