Clearing & Settlement operator

Role Overview: As a Clearing and Settlement Analyst at DWS India Operations in Pune, India, you will be responsible for supporting interfaces with various internal and external stakeholders involved in the clearing and settlement process chain. Your role will involve managing trade date to settlement date processes and post-settlement date processes according to market standards. You will play a key role in ensuring timely settlement of trades, resolving discrepancies, preparing reports, and maintaining quality of processing within SLA. Key Responsibilities: - Work with brokers and custodians to settle trades in a timely manner - Investigate trades for discrepancies and coordinate with respective teams/brokers for necessary corrections - Escalate unsettled trades to Front office as per escalation matrix - Prepare daily and monthly reports for outstanding trades/breaks - Prepare monthly KPI and Give up fees report - Ensure team adherence to cut-off times and quality standards as per SLA - Respond to queries/escalations related to routine activities within specified time frames - Maintain healthy relationships with clients, partner teams, and own team Qualifications Required: - Strong analytical skills - Fluency in Microsoft Office skills - Good communication and interpersonal skills - Exposure to Equity and Bonds is preferable - Understanding of Trade life cycle - Excellent team player with good communication and interpersonal skills Additional Details: Deutsche Bank offers a range of benefits including a best in class leave policy, gender neutral parental leaves, childcare assistance benefit, sponsorship for industry relevant certifications, employee assistance program, comprehensive hospitalization insurance, accident and term life insurance, and complementary health screening for individuals above 35 years.
