Construction Surveyor (Total Station Operator)

* Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Construction Surveyor with expertise in operating Total Stations to join our project team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting precise land and construction site surveys, ensuring accurate measurements, and supporting engineering and construction teams with reliable data for project execution.

* Key Responsibilities

• Perform site surveys using Total Station equipment to establish reference points, elevations, and boundaries.

• Set out construction works including foundations, roads, utilities, and structural elements.

• Collect, record, and interpret survey data for use in design and construction.

• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure alignment with design specifications.

• Maintain and calibrate survey instruments to guarantee accuracy.

• Prepare detailed survey reports, drawings, and documentation.

• Monitor construction progress and verify that work is executed according to survey benchmarks.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and project requirements.

* Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying, or related field.

• Proven experience as a Surveyor/Total Station Operator in construction projects.

• Proficiency in operating Total Station, GPS, and other surveying instruments.

• Strong knowledge of surveying techniques, construction layouts, and site levels.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.

• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or other survey-related software is an advantage.

• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving ability.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

* Work Environment

• Construction sites (outdoor and indoor settings).

• Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

• Occasional travel depending on project location.
