civil site engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day site operations and construction activities.
• Ensure that work is done safely, on time, and within budget.
• Interpret and implement construction drawings and specifications.
• Liaise with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Monitor progress and compile reports on project status.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Conduct quality control checks and resolve any on-site technical issues.
• Maintain accurate site records, including progress, incidents, and inspections.
• Coordinate with surveying and planning teams to ensure correct alignment and levels.
• Handle procurement and ensure timely availability of materials and equipment.
• Attend site meetings and provide input on project progress and challenges
• Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Site Engineer or similar role in construction.
• Sound knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and project management.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management software.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites.
