A civil engineer in land development oversees and coordinates the construction and implementation of the land development project, ensuring that the design specifications are followed and the quality standards are met, They prepare and review the contract documents, bids, and estimates for the construction works and materials. They also supervise and monitor the progress, performance, and safety of the contractors, subcontractors, and workers on site. They troubleshoot and resolve any issues, problems, or changes that arise during the construction phase. They also conduct inspections, tests, and evaluations to verify the compliance and functionality of the constructed elements and systems.
