Civil Engineer - Project

We are looking for a skilled Civil Engineer with 5 to 11 years of experience to join our team in the Agro Chemical Industry in Saykha, Gujarat. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and excellent project management skills.

• Execute, prepare, monitor, and analyze civil work plans as per schedule.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines for smooth and efficient project implementation.
• Identify quality issues, raise quality surveillance, and effectively resolve them.
• Supervise contractors, evaluate work schedules, monitor progress, and prepare daily/weekly progress reports.
• Verify running amount bills and final bills of contractors, reporting any concerns or issues to the project head.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor activities for timely project completion within time, quality, cost, and budget parameters.
• Be well-versed in various codes and IS standards for civil works.
• Conduct tool box talks before new work starts and instruct the usage of safety equipment during job execution to prevent accidents.
• Actively manage projects from the field, addressing and resolving construction-related issues.
• Plan and coordinate all civil maintenance of plant & infrastructures including sanitary, drainage, and rainwater systems.
• Perform preventive/breakdown maintenance of civil works.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.E/B.Tech).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in the agrochemical industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction drawings, project activities, and civil engineering principles.
• Excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Familiarity with various codes and IS standards for civil works.
• Experience in bill verification/measurement checking as per tender conditions & IS standards.
• Proficiency in preparing documents related to the job (Daily Report, Material Inventory Status, BOM, BOQ), giving instructions for the safe use of safety equipment during job execution.
