They conduct site investigations, create blueprints, assess risks, and ensure compliance with regulations, working in various sectors from public works to private construction. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Planning: Develop plans and blueprints for infrastructure projects using data from surveys, tests, and maps.Project Management: Oversee construction, manage budgets, timelines, and coordinate teams.Site Analysis: Conduct feasibility studies, site investigations, and risk assessments.Technical Duties: Prepare reports, specifications, and construction documents; ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.Maintenance: Supervise the upkeep and operation of existing structures and systems. Common ProjectsRoads, railways, airports, tunnels, bridges, dams, ports.Water supply, sewage systems, and drainage.Buildings (skyscrapers, hospitals, power stations). Essential Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.Strong problem-solving, math, and analytical skills.Proficiency in design and modeling software.Excellent leadership, communication, and project management abilities.
