CIVIL DRAUGHTSMAN

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Draughtsman to join our team for a prestigious infrastructure project in Kochi, Kerala. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in civil drafting, with at least 2 years in a similar role on elevated metro rail projects or major infrastructure bridge projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed civil drawings including plans, sections, and elevations for metro rail/bridge/infrastructure projects.
• Create drawings using AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software based on design specifications and engineering data.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable standards and specifications (e.g., IRC, IS codes).
• Coordinate with design engineers and project managers to incorporate changes and updates.
• Maintain drawing registers, revision records, and documentation as per project requirements.
• Support site teams with technical drawings and clarification when required.
• Work collaboratively with structural and MEP teams for multidisciplinary coordination.

Requirements:

• Educational Qualification: ITI/Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute.
• Experience:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in civil drafting.
• Minimum 2 years experience in elevated metro rail or major bridge infrastructure projects.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D essential; 3D optional).
• Working knowledge of MS Office.
• Familiarity with BIM/Revit or MicroStation (preferred but not mandatory).
• Ability to read and interpret civil and structural drawings.
• Strong attention to detail, with good organizational and communication skills.
