Civil Design Engineer

As a Civil Design Lead for ETP and ZLD projects, your role involves leading the civil design review, detailing, and construction management. You will be responsible for preparing and checking civil drawings such as GADs, RCC detailing, and layout plans to ensure compliance with project specifications. Additionally, you will conduct site surveys, soil investigations, and assist in finalizing foundation designs for various structures including tanks, clarifiers, and evaporation ponds. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate with process, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation teams for integrated project execution. - Review contractor drawings, method statements, and approve material submissions related to civil works. - Monitor site execution for civil works including excavation, shuttering, RCC, waterproofing, and underground piping. - Prepare and manage project schedules, work breakdown structures, and resource planning for civil activities. - Ensure compliance with IS Codes, BIS standards, and client quality standards. - Maintain strict HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) protocols at all times. - Manage civil vendors, contractors, and subcontractors effectively. - Handle civil billing verification, BOQ preparation, and quantity estimation. - Prepare project reports, status updates, and escalate issues timely to management. Qualifications Required: - Degree in Civil Engineering or related field. - Proven experience in civil design, detailing, and construction management. - Familiarity with IS Codes, BIS standards, and quality compliance. - Strong project management skills and ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams. - Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
