Civil Design Engineer

You will be responsible for designing and developing control panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and schematics according to customer specifications and industry standards. Utilizing CAD tools such as AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or equivalent, you will create electrical drawings to meet project requirements. Your role will involve selecting suitable electrical components like contactors, relays, PLCs, breakers, etc., considering application and load demands. Compliance with relevant electrical standards and safety regulations such as IEC, NEC, and IS is crucial in your tasks. Collaboration with production and quality teams is essential to address design challenges and ensure the manufacturability of control panels. Additionally, you will conduct design reviews, cost optimization, and risk assessments for both new and existing panel designs. Maintaining the Bill of Materials (BOM) and updating documentation based on change requests or project requirements will be part of your responsibilities. You may need to provide support for troubleshooting and testing control panels during production if the situation demands. Moreover, communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams for technical clarifications and approvals will be necessary for project success.,
