Civil Design Engineer

As a Civil 3D Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in infrastructure projects by utilizing your expertise in Auto desk Civil 3D software. Your responsibilities will include: - Planning and conducting desktop assessments using Autodesk Civil 3D and MS Excel software to achieve desired site contours and slopes for various projects such as stormwater drainage systems and roads. - Designing land grading and earthwork plans, analyzing cut and fill volumes, and optimizing land development according to finished ground levels. - Developing infrastructure systems plans for projects including roads, utilities, stormwater management, and landscaping for large solar projects in India and overseas. - Creating detailed engineering plans, drawings, and reports while adhering to Indian and American codes and standards. - Reviewing technical documents for quality and compliance with project requirements. - Designing effective drainage systems to manage water runoff and prevent erosion. - Generating construction documents such as plan and profile sheets, details, and specifications following company standards. - Preparing cost estimates, bill of materials, and material specifications. - Collaborating with team members, project managers, and team leads as per project requirements. - Maintaining files and documentation according to company folder management guidelines. - Working independently to meet project timelines and adhering to health, safety, and environmental commitments. Qualifications required for this role: - Education: BTech in Civil Engineering or MTech in Water Resources/Transportation Engineering. - Experience: 1 to 4 years in Civil Engineering design, with a focus on levelling grading and stormwater drainage design. - Proficiency in using AutoCAD Civil 3D and MS Excel software. - Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices. - Knowledge of International codes would be beneficial. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy. - Effective communication and teamwork skills. - Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and continuously improve technical skills. - Good communication skills and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.,
