Role & responsibilities

Billing Responsibilities

• Prepare Client & Contractor Bills

  : Create Running Account (RA) bills and final bills based on site progress.

• Subcontractor Billing

  : Process bills for subcontractors using site measurements and work orders.

• Verification & Certification

  : Cross-check actual work done with site measurements and certify bills from vendors and contractors.

• Follow-up for Payments

  : Coordinate with the accounts department to ensure timely payments.

Estimating & Cost Control

• Quantity Estimation

  : Calculate quantities from drawings and site data to prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ).

• Rate Analysis

  : Analyze item rates based on material, labor, and overhead costs using standards like DSR (Delhi Schedule of Rates).

• Cost Monitoring

  : Work with quantity surveyors to keep cost estimates updated throughout the project lifecycle.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain Records

  : Keep daily, weekly, and monthly billing logs and generate MIS reports for management.

• Reconciliation Statements

  : Prepare statements comparing estimated vs actual quantities and costs.

• Tender & Contract Management

  : Interpret tender documents, compile comparative statements, and ensure compliance with contract clauses.

Coordination & Site Interaction

• Site Measurements

  : Liaise with site engineers to take accurate measurements.

• Team Communication

  : Act as a bridge between clients, contractors, site teams, and accounts.

• Value Engineering

  : Evaluate options to improve functionality and reduce costs without compromising quality.

Technical Skills Required
