Cisco Network Engineer

As a Network Engineer for the Cisco and Arista hardware deployment project, your responsibilities will include: - Working on the replacement of end-of-life Cisco and Arista devices from start to finish - Collaborating with a team in India and reporting to the manager based in India - Configuring and setting up new devices, working closely with the hardware team - Validating and testing replacements with the data center team - Providing configuration support from A to B for CISCO and Arista hardware You will be working with 200-250 devices across 3 data centers located in Alpharetta, Sioux Falls, and Roseland. The work will involve configuring new devices, coordinating with the hardware team, and ensuring smooth cutovers between devices. Hard requirements for this role include: - 3-5 years of experience with CISCO and Arista devices - Proficiency in the operating systems and command structures of the devices - Hands-on experience with Cisco and Arista switches - Some project management experience to collaborate effectively with different teams The contract for this role is for 6 months with the possibility of extension for another 6 months.
