Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced L3 Network Security Engineer to lead and manage complex network security infrastructure including firewalls, NAC, and enterprise-wide network operations. The role requires strong expertise in network design, implementation, troubleshooting, and leadership of junior teams.

Key Responsibilities

Network Security Management

• Configure, test, and maintain LAN/WAN across campus, core, and branch networks
• Manage enterprise firewall infrastructure (PA/Checkpoint/ASA/Fortinet)
• Implement and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures
• Lead end-to-end security infrastructure projects (planning, design, implementation, upgrades, optimization)

Advanced Technical Operations

• Manage and troubleshoot SD-WAN infrastructure
• Handle critical escalations and provide L3 technical leadership
• Develop and maintain HLDs, LLDs, implementation plans, and network documentation

Operational Excellence

• Execute and review major changes
• Troubleshoot critical/major incidents
• Optimize system performance and maintain SOPs
• Collaborate with OEM TAC for advanced support

Team Leadership

• Provide guidance to L1 & L2 teams and resolve escalated cases
• Mentor, train, and upskill junior engineers
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for project execution
• Lead POCs and evaluate emerging technologies

Technical Skills & Platforms

• Cisco ISE, SD-WAN, Cisco ACI, Core Routers & Switches (Cisco/Juniper)
• Traditional routing & switching protocols
• Firewall solutions: Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, Fortinet
• NAC infrastructure and Identity Management (Azure AD, On-prem AD)
