Dear Candidates, Job Description: Technical Consultant - Network Engineering Location: Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India Experience: 8 - 10 Years Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Consultant specializing in Network Engineering to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in providing technical consulting, designing robust network solutions, overseeing successful deployments, and performing expert-level troubleshooting. This role requires deep technical expertise across a wide range of Cisco IP and Optical routing platforms, networking protocols, and switching technologies, particularly within Service Provider environments. Responsibilities: Provide expert-level technical consulting to clients on complex network infrastructure projects. Design and architect scalable and resilient network solutions based on Cisco IP and Optical routing platforms. Lead and oversee the deployment and implementation of network infrastructure solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices and client requirements. Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex network issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing impact. Maintain and troubleshoot Cisco IP and Optical Routers, including but not limited to ASR9912, ASR9910, ASR9903, and Cisco 8K series. Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and practical experience in configuring and troubleshooting various Networking Protocols and Service Configurations, including: Routing: OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, LISP, IPv6, Segment Routing MPLS: LDP, MPLS TE, RSVP, L3VPN Layer 2 VPN: VPWS, VPLS, EVPN Overlay: VXLAN Traffic Engineering: TE-Tunnel Possess strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Switching Technologies, including: Spanning Tree Protocols: STP, RSTP, MSTP Link Aggregation: LACP VLANs and Trunking Virtualization: VTP, VSS, vPC, vDC Overlay: VXLAN, EVPN, LISP Develop comprehensive technical documentation, including high-level and low-level designs, implementation plans, and troubleshooting guides. Collaborate effectively with client technical teams and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in networking technologies and Cisco platforms. Potentially mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers. Required Skills & Qualifications: 8 - 10 years of validated experience in technical consulting, network design, deployment, and troubleshooting of complex network environments. Possess relevant technical certifications, with CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE (Routing & Switching / Service Provider) highly desired. Proven expertise in maintaining and troubleshooting Cisco IP and Optical Routers (ASR9912, ASR9910, ASR9903, Cisco 8K). Comprehensive and detailed knowledge of key Networking Protocols: OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, LISP, VxLAN, IPv6, MPLS LDP, MPLS TE, RSVP, VPWS, VPLS, L3VPN, TE-Tunnel, Segment Routing. Strong understanding and practical experience with Switching Technologies: STP, RSTP, RSVP-TE, VTP, VSS, vPC, vDC, MSTP, LACP, VLAN, VXLAN, EVPN, LISP. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues. Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Strong customer-facing skills and a professional demeanor.
