CIAM Software Engineer III

As a Software Engineer at Zinnia, you will be responsible for executing the product vision to create a modern, scalable, and persona-driven customer identity and access management system. Your role will involve partnering with fellow engineers to design and develop a framework for customer authentication and authorization solutions that are reusable, predictable, and maintainable. We are looking for a team player with leadership experience, strong API security skills, and a track record of successful project delivery. Your key responsibilities will include designing and implementing API policies, developing enterprise API solutions using Kong, integrating the CIAM solution for internal and external APIs, and collaborating with the CIAM team to enhance client service capabilities. To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, at least 5 years of software development experience, and knowledge of OAuth, SAML, and OpenID Connect protocols. Experience with NestJS or other typescript-based frameworks, AWS services, and common DevOps tasks will be beneficial. Additionally, you should possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills, along with the ability to work effectively in an Agile/Scrum environment.
