With a focus on Laravel for backend development and React / JavaScript for frontend, you will be responsible for ensuring the performance, security, and uptime of our system. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead a small yet dynamic engineering team in the development of our web platform. - Collaborate with product and design teams to create a roadmap and translate it into actionable steps for developers. - Review technical plans prepared by team members and provide enhancements where necessary. - Conduct regular code reviews, emphasizing on Laravel and React / JavaScript. - Monitor system performance, security, and uptime to maintain optimal functionality. - Recruit, train, and mentor new developers to support our growth. - Collaborate with the founders on budgeting, timelines, and strategic technology decisions. **Qualifications Required:** - 5+ years of experience in software leadership or management roles. - Proficiency in Laravel, React, and core JavaScript. - Demonstrated ability to plan projects effectively, meet deadlines, and uphold high code quality standards. - Skilled in providing and receiving feedback through code review processes. - Excellent English communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts. - Willingness to work from our office in Chennai.
