Position Overview:

The Chief Security Officer (CSO) is responsible for establishing and maintaining the enterprise vision, strategy, and program to ensure information assets and technologies are adequately protected. This executive role includes overseeing physical safety, managing risk, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

• Develop and implement a comprehensive security strategy aligned with business goals.
  
• Lead the organizations security initiatives across information security, physical security, and cyber resilience.
  
• Advise executive leadership on security risks, mitigation strategies, and investments.
  

Information & Cybersecurity

• Oversee the development and implementation of plant security policies, procedures, and controls.
  
• Ensure protection of digital assets, infrastructure, and customer data.
  
• Monitor security operations centers (SOCs) and incident response capabilities.
  
• Lead threat detection, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
  

Physical Security

• Develop and enforce physical security protocols for facilities, employees, and visitors.
  
• Manage access control, surveillance systems, and emergency response plans.
  

Risk & Compliance

• Conduct enterprise-wide risk assessments and security audits.
  
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations
  
• Interface with regulators, auditors, and third-party vendors.
  

Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and develop security teams across multiple domains.
  
• Foster a culture of security awareness throughout the organization.
  
• Manage security budgets and resource allocation.
