Role & responsibilities

Productivity Improvement through Industrial Engineering Activity - Process Study Time & Motion study to establish Production Norms.
Must have proven track record in successfully implementing process improvement with cost benefit. Study all of the on-going and the existing process, method, cycle time etc.
Generate data and analyse to make project plan along with cost benefit analysis.
Responsible for Line balancing and improvement in cycle time through time study & motion study for various jobs , as required. Improving the productivity with the Industrial Engineering skills by installing new machines , support in automation , layout changes , process improvement etc.
Candidate must have exposure to World Class Manufacturing System, Lean Tools such as 5S,Value Stream Mapping, One piece flow, Takt time, Quick change-over etc.
Must have good analytical skills. Should be a team man. Should have excellent. communication and presentation skills.
Knowledge of MOST and Planning & Scheduling software will be added advantage.
Responsible for line capacity calculations and implementations. Responsible to prepare Process flow, Facility planning, installation and commissioning of machines for new projects.
