Chief Ground Instructor

Role Overview: As the Chief Ground Instructor, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and curriculum of ground training at the Air India FTO and for the AI Cadet Pilot Program in accordance with the requirements of DGCA CPL and the airline. Your role will involve overseeing all ground instructors, standardizing ground training, and maintaining training records. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements for Pilot Ground trainings and examinations (DGCA, BCAS, etc.). - Supervise all ground instructors for pilot training and ensure standardization of all theoretical knowledge instruction for the Air India FTO & Cadet Pilot Program. - Ensure appropriate filling of instructor positions based on knowledge, skills training, and experience for respective positions. - Exercise full functional and administrative control over pilot ground training curriculum, evaluation, scheduling, and record-keeping. - Conduct Standardization Committee meetings to maintain training policies. - Ensure the maintenance of all training aids, identify deficiencies in training standards to Head, FTO, and Director, Aviation Academy. - Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and regulatory bodies. - Prepare and update training documents such as SOPs, Aircraft-specific circulars, etc. - Oversee the preparation of Cadet Pilot Training Curriculum for pilot ground training and ensure updates reflecting the latest operating techniques, experience, instructions, and DGCA regulations. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Aviation or related field. - DGCA CPL certification. - Previous experience as a Ground Instructor in the aviation industry. - Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and training standards. - Excellent communication and organizational skills.,
