Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Role & responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Conduct financial audits and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risks.
• Ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including tax filings and corporate governance standards.
• Ensuring proper maintenance of accurate and up-to-date records of all company documentation, including board meetings and resolutions.
• Advise on legal and regulatory matters affecting the company, including changes in corporate laws and regulations.
• Internal Audits and liaise with external auditors, regulatory authorities and other stakeholders.
• Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks and opportunities.
• Assist in the development and execution of business plans and initiatives.
• Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Ensure the professional development and training of team members.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) Qualified
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and corporate governance.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Age shouldn't be more than 50 years
