CHIEF ENGINEER

You will be responsible for the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International’s corporate strategies and brand standards, while meeting employee, guest, and owner expectations. The Chief Engineer is responsible for assisting the General Manager in ensuring the efficient and economical operation of the Engineering Department, supporting all other operating departments by supplying required services, and maintaining the equipment, building, and grounds in optimum condition.

Ideally, with a university degree or diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with at least 2/3 years in a leadership role as Chief Engineer or Engineering Manager (hotel experience preferred). Strong technical knowledge, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies effectively.
