Chief Designer - Instrumentation

Job Description: You will be joining Petrofac as a Principal Designer - Instrumentation where you will be responsible for guiding and leading the design, modeling, and drafting activities for projects of varying complexity and size. Your role will involve carrying out FEED and/or Proposal work estimates, providing procurement support, and ensuring support for fabrication and construction requirements. As a Lead Designer, you must have experience in block building and fabrication yard. Your expertise in reading and understanding specifications and European regulations, and implementing them during project execution will be crucial. Additionally, your extensive layout and 3D modeling experience will enable you to coordinate inputs for layout effectively. You will also play a key role in developing the initial bill of material, preparing technical layouts and drawings for proposal estimation, and reviewing technical documents such as P&IDs, Plot plans, and GA drawings. Key Responsibilities: - Guide and lead design, modeling, and drafting activities for projects - Carry out FEED and/or Proposal work estimates - Provide procurement support and ensure support for fabrication and construction requirements - Act as Lead Designer with block building and fabrication yard experience - Implement specifications and European regulations during project execution - Coordinate complete inputs for layout - Develop the initial bill of material and prepare technical layouts and drawings for proposal estimation - Review various technical documents such as P&IDs, Plot plans, and GA drawings Qualification Required: - BE / B. Tech/ Diploma/ ITI in Instrumentation or similar field from a reputed institution - More than 7 years of experience in 3D modeling - 15+ years of EPC Industry experience with a minimum of 4 years in Onshore/offshore industry,
