Chief Accountant

You are invited to join Welcare Hospital as a Chief Accountant with the responsibility of overseeing and managing the financial operations of the hospital. We are looking for a highly qualified individual with extensive experience in healthcare finance and a deep understanding of accounting standards and compliance requirements specific to the healthcare sector. To be considered for this position, you should hold a qualification of M.Com, ICWA, CA Inter, or CA, along with a minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in the healthcare/hospital sector. It is essential that you possess a sound knowledge of hospital billing systems, insurance claims, TDS, GST, and statutory compliance. Proficiency in accounting software like Tally and MS Excel is expected, and strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills are highly valued. As the Chief Accountant, your key responsibilities will include managing and overseeing daily accounting operations, internal controls, and financial documentation. You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing monthly/annual financial reports and statements, ensuring timely and accurate filing of statutory returns (GST, TDS, PF, ESI, etc.), coordinating with auditors, consultants, and regulatory bodies, leading and mentoring the accounts team, and assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control strategies.
