Job Title: Chef / Cook – School Mess
Location: GD Goenka Public School, Chhibramau, Kannauj

Job Summary:

The Chef/Cook will be responsible for preparing healthy, hygienic, and nutritious meals for school staff as per the school’s approved menu. The role requires maintaining cleanliness, following food safety standards, and ensuring timely meal service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner and evening tea as per the daily menu approved by the school management.
• Ensure all meals are cooked hygienically and with fresh ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dining area.
• Manage kitchen stock and report requirements for groceries and provisions in advance.
• Minimize food wastage and manage portions effectively.
• Ensure timely meal preparation and service for school staff.

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a cook/chef in a school, hostel, or institutional kitchen preferred.
• Knowledge of vegetarian Indian cuisine.
• Basic understanding of hygiene, nutrition, and safety practices.
• Physically fit, disciplined, punctual, and team-oriented.

Work Schedule:

• Full-time, 6 days a week (as per school timings)

• As per school norms and experience

मुख्य जिम्मेदारियाँ:

• रोजाना तय मेन्यू के अनुसार नाश्ता, दोपहर का खाना, रात का खाना और शाम की चाय बनाना।
• खाने को साफ-सफाई के साथ और ताज़ी चीज़ों से तैयार करना।
• रसोई और खाने की जगह को हमेशा साफ रखना।
• जरूरत का सामान (किराना आदि) समय पर बताना ताकि कमी न हो।
• खाने की बर्बादी कम करना और सही मात्रा में परोसना।
• स्टाफ के लिए समय पर खाना तैयार रखना।

योग्यता और आवश्यकताएँ:

• पहले स्कूल, हॉस्टल या किसी संस्था में रसोइया का काम किया हो तो अच्छा रहेगा।
• शाकाहारी भारतीय खाना बनाना आना चाहिए।
• सफाई, पौष्टिकता और सुरक्षा का ध्यान रखने की समझ हो।
• मेहनती, अनुशासित, समय पर आने वाला और मिलजुलकर काम करने वाला हो।

काम का समय:

• पूरे समय का काम, हफ्ते में 6 दिन (स्कूल के समय के अनुसार)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
