Job Description: Chef/Cook (Hostel) – Haldwani

Salary: ₹12,000 per month

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Chef/Cook for our hostel in Haldwani. The ideal candidate should know basic Indian home-style cooking and be able to prepare healthy, hygienic meals for students on time.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, and dinner as per daily schedule
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen
Plan simple and cost-effective menus
Manage kitchen inventory and minimize wastage
Ensure meals are served on time
Follow all health and safety standards
Assist in purchasing vegetables & groceries when required

Requirements

Minimum 1–2 years of cooking experience (hostel or mess experience preferred)
Ability to cook Indian vegetarian & non-vegetarian dishes
Should be punctual, disciplined, and clean in habits
Must be comfortable living on campus
Age Preferable: 25–50 years
