Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chef Tandoori at Kamat Group of Hotels, located in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The Chef Tandoori will be responsible for preparing and cooking tandoori dishes, ensuring the quality and consistency of each dish. Daily tasks include menu planning, kitchen inventory management, and maintaining kitchen hygiene standards. Additionally, the chef will collaborate with the kitchen team to innovate and create new tandoori recipes.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in preparing and cooking tandoori dishes, with a strong understanding of traditional tandoori ingredients and techniques
  • Experience in menu planning and kitchen inventory management
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively
  • Creativity in developing new tandoori recipes
  • Relevant culinary certifications or a culinary degree is a plus
