Chef for USA

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Kerala Cuisine Chef to join our South Indian restaurant in the USA. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of traditional and contemporary Kerala dishes, cooking techniques, spices, and ingredients. This role requires creativity, consistency, and a strong commitment to quality and authenticity.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Plan and develop Kerala-style menus in alignment with restaurant standards and customer preferences.
• Maintain consistency in taste, portioning, presentation, and quality.
• Ensure kitchen hygiene and food safety practices are strictly followed according to U.S. health and safety regulations.
• Manage inventory of Kerala spices, ingredients, and kitchen supplies, placing orders as needed.
• Supervise and train kitchen staff on Kerala cuisine preparations and presentation.
• Innovate and introduce new Kerala dishes or seasonal specials to enhance the dining experience.
• Monitor food costs and minimize waste without compromising quality.
• Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
