Job Title: Chartered Accountant (Retail Finance/Corporate)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant with strong experience in the retail sector to manage the end-to-end financial operations of our retail business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate accounting, cost optimization, tax compliance, and insightful financial reporting to support strategic business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting, including sales, inventory accounting, vendor payments, and bank reconciliations.
• Monitor and control store-wise financial performance, including revenue, margins, and cost centers.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Conduct inventory audits, shrinkage analysis, and stock reconciliations across retail outlets.
• Ensure compliance with GST, Income Tax, TDS, and other regulatory requirements applicable to retail operations.
• Assist in budget preparation, sales forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Collaborate with merchandising, operations, and supply chain teams to align financial planning with business goals.
• Manage statutory audits, internal controls, and risk mitigation procedures.
• Work on process improvements and automation initiatives in finance functions.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 3-6 years of relevant experience, preferably in retail, FMCG, or consumer goods.
• Strong understanding of retail accounting principles, taxation, and inventory control.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and analytical tools.
• Strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-store environment.
