Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage the financial accounting and reporting process and review the preparation of financial

accounting analysis and general entries to understand the clients operations.

• Ensure period end closure activities are performed according to agreed close schedules and that

accounting policies are following GAAP and stated company norms.

• Inspect account books and accounting systems for efficiency, effectiveness, and use of accepted

accounting procedures to record transactions.

• Creating reports or offering recommendations after internal/ statutory/ public-sector/ UN agency

audits.

• Report to management about audit results and recommend changes in operations and financial

activities.

• Good knowledge of and experience with taxes, with focus on corporate / entity taxation (as

opposed to personal taxes)

• Produce good clear first drafts of correspondence and reports

• Group reporting as per IFRS for the companies

• Communicates audit findings by preparing a final report, discussing findings with auditees.

• Respond to clients and internal clients promptly.

• Need based ad hoc reporting and analysis to support requirements of business.

Experience

• CA with 1 to5 years of experience.

Skills and attributes for success

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Knowledge of Indian accounting and assurance standards or knowledge of IFRS /GAAP and

International review standards is an added advantage.

• Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage ambiguity

• Good managerial, administrative, risk management and mentoring skills

• Project management, leadership, coaching, counselling, and supervisory skills

• Flexible to work in any shift, positive mindset.

• Manage own time effectively and ensure that project work is completed to timescale and budget.
