Charge Entry Specialist

Experience: 2 - 7 years (Relative experience in US Medical Billing)

Responsibilities:

• Perform manual charge entry of charges received
• Reviewing patient medical records to identify services provided and entering the corresponding billing codes into billing software
• Verifying patient insurance eligibility and benefits and providing detailed and accurate comments for future reference
• Ensure information entered in the system is done in an accurate and timely manner
• Submitting claims to insurance companies and other payers
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology and billing system processes
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years work experience in Charge entry in US Medical Billing
• Sound knowledge in Healthcare concept
• Should have good knowledge and hands on experience in MS office especially MS excel
• Ability to multitask
• Candidates should have their own Laptop along with Internet connection.
