Channel QPI Engineer - Quality & Process Improvement

Role Overview: As a Channel QPI Engineer Quality & Process Improvement at SKF, your primary responsibility will be to ensure defect-free supplies to customers by improving, changing, and making processes stable. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the detection system and generation processes, driving best practices across the plant, and developing a quality culture through awareness and training programs. Key Responsibilities: - Make detection system & generation processes robust & stable - Deployment of best practices across the plant in consultation with the Plant Quality team - Drive License to Inspect Program to certify operators for processes - Develop a Quality Culture by creating awareness, discipline in adherence to quality processes & required training for operators - Perform Capability Mapping & initiate actions to make processes stable & capable to meet customer requirements - Work continuously with CFT for CoNQ reduction - Ensure implementation of CRA, Risk from PFMEA, Hidden Factor Analysis & ZD actions on channels - Analyze repetitive deviations & identify and implement robust solutions - Ensure Right First Time Quality after reset through defined troubleshooting procedures - Updating changes made in quality documents & systems in the channel handbook Qualifications Required: - 5-8 yrs. of relevant experience in Manufacturing Engineering - Bachelor's in Engineering (Mechanical/Industrial/Production) - Certified Six Sigma green belt Additional Details: SKF, a pioneer in providing industry-leading automotive and industrial engineered solutions, has a strong commitment to research-based innovation.
