The Opportunity We’re inviting ceramic artists and studios who specialize in custom, handcrafted tableware to join a growing network of collaborators working at the intersection of food, design, and hospitality. This is not a full-time position — it is a project-based opportunity to be considered for future commissions with chefs, restaurants, food brands, and concept-driven culinary ventures across India and internationally. Who We’re Looking For You create ceramics that are both functional and expressive — tableware that enhances the way food is served, seen, and experienced. Your approach is material-focused, detail-oriented, and aligned with the evolving needs of contemporary dining. We’re looking for individuals or studios who: Design and produce plates, bowls, serveware, and other forms with intention and craft Have worked with (or are interested in working with) chefs, restaurants, or food startups Understand how ceramics contribute to a restaurant or brand’s identity Can deliver consistent, small-batch production tailored to specific briefs Value creative collaboration, yet maintain a distinct artistic point of view What You Might Work On Custom tableware for restaurants, cafes, culinary studios, and curated events Limited-edition collections tied to seasonal menus or spatial experiences Co-developed pieces that respond to brand aesthetics, ingredient philosophy, or service rituals Tableware systems designed for scale without sacrificing character Eligibility A strong, relevant portfolio of functional ceramic work Capability to handle custom orders or small-batch production Comfort with collaborative, project-based workflows Open to independent ceramicists, collectives, and studios Remote or location-flexible; ability to ship nationally or internationally is a plus To Express Interest Please send the following to connect@paxika.com : A brief introduction or studio profile Portfolio or images of past work (especially tableware) Notes on location, production capacity, and availability Any relevant experience with hospitality or food-related projects Show more Show less
