Centre Technical Assistant- Centre of Excellence in NanoTechnology and Advanced Materials (CENTAM)

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Centre Technical Assistant at the Centre of Excellence in NanoTechnology and Advanced Materials (CENTAM). Day-to-day responsibilities include providing technical assistance to research teams, delivering technical support for projects, and maintaining specialized equipment. The role also involves collaborating with teams, addressing queries, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operational functionality at the center.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Technical Assistance and Technical Support to ensure smooth functioning of equipment and systems.
• Analytical Skills to problem-solve effectively and manage precision work within the domain of nanotechnology and advanced materials.
• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact with research teams, faculty, and other stakeholders effectively.
• Ability to work independently and adhere to safety and operational protocols.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry or a related technical field is preferred; experience in nanotechnology or advanced materials is a plus.
