Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong liaison with Central Government ministries, departments, and regulatory bodies (e.g., Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Department of Agriculture, CPCB, DGFT, etc.).
Represent the organization in government meetings, industry associations, and regulatory forums.
Track policy updates, subsidy schemes, and government tenders relevant to the fertilizer sector.
Coordinate for timely approvals, licenses, and clearances (import/export, environment, fertilizer control orders, etc.).
Build networks with senior bureaucrats and policymakers to ensure compliance and smooth business operations.
Facilitate submission and follow-up of reports, proposals, and documentation with government authorities.
Support management in government representation, advocacy, and public affairs initiatives.
Monitor key regulatory changes and communicate potential impacts to the leadership team.
Assist internal teams (Marketing, Legal, Compliance, and Operations) in aligning practices with government norms and schemes.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Graduate / Postgraduate in Public Administration / Political Science / Agriculture / Chemistry / MBA preferred.
Proven experience in government liaisoning within the fertilizer / chemical / heavy manufacturing sector.
Strong understanding of fertilizer policies, FCO norms, subsidies, and licensing procedures.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Ability to handle senior-level government interactions with professionalism and discretion.
Familiarity with government e-portals, regulatory filings, and compliance systems.
