Role Overview: You will be responsible for ensuring that all food is of excellent quality and served in a timely manner. Your role will involve planning the menu, considering budget constraints and availability of seasonal ingredients. You will oversee all kitchen operations, coordinate kitchen staff, and provide assistance as needed. Additionally, you will be training staff to prepare and cook all menu items, taking stock of ingredients and equipment, and placing orders to replenish stock. Enforcing safety and sanitation standards in the kitchen and creating new recipes to keep the menu fresh will also be part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure food quality and timely service - Plan menu within budget constraints and seasonal availability - Oversee all kitchen operations - Coordinate and assist kitchen staff - Train staff on menu item preparation and cooking techniques - Manage ingredient and equipment stock levels, and place orders as needed - Enforce safety and sanitation standards - Develop new recipes to update the menu Qualifications Required: - Diploma preferred - 1 year of experience as a Chef preferred - 1 year of total work experience preferred Additional Company Details: The job is full-time with benefits including health insurance. The schedule is during the day shift, and the job location is in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. Reliable commute or planning to relocate before starting work is required.
