Job Summary:

The Chef de Partie – Chinese Cuisine is responsible for managing a specific section of the Chinese kitchen and ensuring that all dishes from that section are prepared according to the restaurant’s quality standards. This role requires a solid foundation in traditional Chinese cooking techniques, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the daily food preparation and cooking in the assigned section (e.g., hot kitchen, cold kitchen, dim sum, BBQ, noodle, wok).
  • Prepare all dishes according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Ensure all ingredients are properly prepared, stored, and used efficiently to minimize waste.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and appearance at all times.
  • Follow strict hygiene and food safety standards in accordance with hotel/restaurant policies.
  • Assist the Sous Chef and Chinese Head Chef in developing new dishes and menu improvements.
  • Supervise, train, and support junior cooks and apprentices within the section.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
